Does the endoscopy procedure take place under general anaesthesia? |
Endoscopy procedure does not take place under general anaesthesia. Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy at our centre will be performed under Monitored Anaesthetic Care (M.A.C.), allowing the patient to undergo examination in a deep sleep with pain-free experience. |

How long will the procedure take place? |
The patient needs to stay in our centre for 3-4 hours (the examination process takes around 30 minutes in general)Patients can be assured of a comfortable journey in a private suite during both the pre-procedure and post-procedure. |

If you have a referral letter stating specific endoscopy or diagnostic imaging items from a public hospital within 6 months, you are welcome to make an appointment for the relevant examination at a special price. |

Is it possible to undergo colonoscopy after doctor consultation on the same day? |
As patients need to adjust their eating habits three days in advance and take laxative powder the day before undergoing colonoscopy, the doctor's consultation and endoscopy cannot be performed on the same day. Patients need to visit our centre on separate occasions. |

When can I get the endoscopy result? |
Doctor will explain the exam result to you after endoscopy. If the patient has undergone polypectomy or biopsies during the procedure, in general, you need to attend the follow-up consultation to receive and collect the pathology results 7 working days after the completion of the examination. |

Will you be accompanied by family member/friend on the day of the endoscopy? |
As you will undergo anaesthesia, our centre recommends that patients be accompanied by your family member/friend on the day of the examination, stay to hear the doctor explain the preliminary report after the examination before departing
